This city in 2008 was recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The colonial vibe and its historical and architectural offerings make it one of the favorite places both for the people who live in Mexico City and the surroundings (due to its proximity), and for foreigners who visit our country. Read on to discover which are the places that continue to surprise and delight me every time I go to enjoy the delicacies they offer.
LAVENDER COFFEE
If you visit the Jardin Allende, two blocks away you can find this place that offers a unique culinary experience by creating dishes with lavender, one of the best-known products in this region. It fascinates me to arrive and see their coffee bar, the freshly baked bread and enjoy the aroma inside this space in which the breakfasts are delicious in addition to the lavender coffee or lavender latte.
BRANCH COFFEE
This place has something to offer depending on your tastes, from breakfasts with orange juice to burgers, salads and more. In addition, in this quaint cafe and bar you can see and buy art as it has an exclusive selection of paintings and unique accessories
HOTEL ROSEWOOD
Luna Rooftop Tapas Bar at the Rosewood hotel is one of the best bars and restaurants in the place. Here Pablo and I have lived incredible afternoons and nights with a panoramic view of San Miguel. The main dish on their menu is international tapas as well as margaritas, martinis and other expertly prepared cocktails.
BIRTHDAY
Founded by a Franco-Italian family, this space blends seamlessly with the 17th century buildings that you can see around. I love the bread from this place, made with the European techniques of yesteryear and its bistro-style cuisine.
